Hello! Nice to meet you :) We are the team behind the Tre Tre & Friends children's book series. Just like any other company, product, or service, there are people behind the scenes working hard to make something out of nothing. Here, you'll learn more about the inspiration behind the book series and the people who made it a reality.
Our Story
The birth of the Tre Tre & Friends book series is a journey that began more than 40 years ago in the Isles of Catalina, a neighborhood in Orlando, Florida. Inspired by experiences from their childhood, founders and longtime friends; Alfred Dunn and Roderick Waldon decided to combine their professional experience and passions for education in the form of a new-aged children's book series, namely, Tre Tre & Friends. The series explores a variety of themes including decision making, critical thinking, practicing acceptance and ultimately expressing love for ourselves and those around us. Working with Visual Artist, Parsa Afsharjavan, on the book's initial design provided an organic and original artistic edge separating itself from standard children's books on the market.
Piloting the book series is Volume One, "Welcome To The Sandbox" where the readers follow the perspective of the lead character of the series; Tre Tre, as he and his friends learn to appreciate each other’s differences.
